The MSc (Med) Vaccinology is a peculiar program with crosscutting interdisciplinary content delivered in a flexible and innovative manner to provide an amazing balance between on campus and off campus activities. With an excellent team of academic staff supported by an outstanding learning environment provided by the University of the Witwatersrand and its affiliated institutions, the potential for learning is infinite. The program prepares accomplished Vaccinologists capable of transforming the society by tackling the high burden of Vaccine preventable diseases in Africa and across the globe. Thanks to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) for the generous offer of sponsorship, it is a great honour and privilege to be part of this important scientific community.
